We’re excited to announce the official start of Rice and Beans — Joy Omaha’s year-round development program for ages 7–10.

Led by Coach Andrei Gotsmanov, former professional player and Creighton All-American, who will serve as Head Coach and Program Director.

What is Rice and Beans?

Rice and Beans program is the heart of Joy Omaha — our signature year-round program for kids who love to play. It’s a creative, low-pressure environment that blends futsal, soccer, skills training, camps, and more. Everything we offer, all in one place.

Why Rice and Beans?

In Brazil, “rice and beans” is a phrase that means keep it simple — and it captures everything we believe about how kids should grow in the game.

Rice and Beans is built on that same idea: stay consistent, stay joyful, and good things will follow. It’s also a nod to my coaching roots at Joy of the People, where the original Rice and Beans Program helped kids develop through play, creativity, and community.
